Advantages of Palm Wax

Palm wax candles are truly the best!
Just about everyone has heard some sort of buzz about palm wax and it's benefits. Our candles are made from 100% all natural palm wax, which is harvested from coconuts while never harming the palm trees. Palm wax candles are designed to burn completely and cleanly with virtually no soot. The natural character of palm wax gives our candles a unique, beautiful, crystallized appearance that you will fall in love with. With the unique patterns, no two candles are identical.

Palm candles are longer-burning and higher quality. Palm wax holds and disperses fragrances better than soy, and the fragrance maintains evenly throughout the burn of the candle, and it resists melting in hot summer months since it has a higher melting point than paraffin or soy. These candles burn significantly longer than the average candle on the market.

Not all candles are the same. Unfortunately, the majority of candles on the market are made from paraffin, a petroleum-based wax, so when folks burn regular candles, they are really burning a petroleum by-product, which is not healthy for our environment.

Palm candles burn cleaner. No one wants to breathe in petroleum by-products. You can breathe easily and safely while burning our candles made with palm wax.

Palm is the environmentally-friendly wax. The coconuts used to make palm wax can simply be harvested while the trees continue to grow. As long as palm trees continue to grow, we can harvest palm wax without harming our environment. Palm wax is fully biodegradable! Paraffin, on the other hand, is a by-product of oil refining. It is a non-renewable resource, so once we are out of oil, we will no longer be able to produce paraffin, and pariffin is not easily biodegradable.

Why are palm wax candles difficult to find in stores? Palm wax is more expensive than paraffin. For most companies, the cost savings of using paraffin outweighs the potential environmental and health risks that are caused by paraffin candles.

Palm is becoming known as the "candle wax of the future". Try 'em and you'll never go back to other types of wax candles!
